Hi, my name is Jay. I am a beginning photographer. I got a point-and shoot for christmas (2006). I am in graphic arts at high school and I have signed up for photography next year. We will be using 35mm cameras. Hopefully the instructor will let me use an SLR. I am looking forward to learning more about this hobby.

Thanks to everybody who voted for me this month. Even though I got well over 500 points, the competition this month was intense and I did not have enough to be nominated for elite.
